Yesterday on Twitter, the question “where do you see yourself in five years” was posed. I for one don’t play that game. I don’t extrapolate out too far into the future. I believe in letting one experience lead to the next.
So today’s profile of In Style UK’s editor, Eilidh MacAskill is especially perfect. She had many stops along her journey and I bet looking back, she appreciates each one for what it was. I hope you enjoy Eilidh’s story in her own words.

“As a young ambitious rookie, I must have worked on almost every kind of media – although the fashion element has come as a bit of a surprise! In Scotland I designed and printed English classics for a little Scottish publishing house, edited a monthly wedding magazine, and launched a weekly newspaper supplement alongside stints on radio and tv. In London I spent some fabulous years as a fashion director before launching a style magazine called Happy and then pitching up at American InStyle. And I have genuinely loved every single second…” - EM
